    Open a note from him or her and then click on the username label (the top most one). A new view with some user details should appear. At the bottom, you'll see a button labeled "Add Friend" with green text. Click on it and you're done. However, you'll remain as fan until your friend adds you as his friend.

    Sure, but I forgot to expose it in the iPhone app. I'll include it in the next release. In the meantime, you can delete notes using the website.

    It maybe related to having just one developer/designer/sysadmin/etc. I'm the one who writes all the code for the website and the iPhone app, as well as mantaining the servers. I do it in my free time and just for fun.

    Hi,

    Everybody can see your notes from the timeline. Your fans and your friends will receive it in their inboxes. You can't currently add or remove friends from the iPhone app, you'll have to use the website bynotes.com. However, I've just sent the new version for the iPhone app to Apple, which supports adding and removing friends as well as finding people near you, and it should be out in two or three days.
